Makeup for Big Brown Eyes

I have big brown eyes! Kind of like mila kunis. If I put too much of thick eyeliner, it makes me look like a raccoon. I need to know what looks good with makeup? Neutral ideas please. I don't like heavy makeup!

I'm assuming based on my own thoughts on having the same kind of eyes, that you like them to be big. Eye liner is best thinly applied, as you seem to have discovered, but when you apply it on your eyelids try to apply it more along the "outside" of your lash line. If you put it too far in, closer to your actual eyeball, it will make your eyes look way smaller than they actually are, which is never good. Though it doesn't sound subtle, the best color for brown eyes is purple. Try loose purple sparkles, but only as eyeshadow. Liquid liner is way harder to apply also, so I would stay away from that. When applying eyeshadow just remember that the darker color should go closest to the eye. Another thing that will widen the eyes is to add a touch of lighter eyeshadow to the inside corner of the eye (towards the nose) and just under the eyebrow towards the outer side. This will make you look more awake and alert, and when you have big eyes you should take advantage of them! Hope I helped :)

Our eyes are quite similar. I now wear my eyeliner on top, but dont put as much on the bottom. Adding eyeliner to the top of your eye will emphasize you're big brown eyes as it has an enlarging effect which opens them up, in my opinion this is the best way to do it if you want to attract attention to your eyes. But if you do it this way make sure you do it neatly.

Great colours for eyeshadow on brown eyes are gold, purple, mauve, grey, lilac, bronze. I think the best way to do it is use 2 eyeshadows. One for your lid which should be the darker colour and the 2nd eyeshadow should be a lighter shade to put in your inner eye and up just beneath your brows. Another way to make you're eyes stand out is by applying some concealer beneath and around your eyes. It brightens your eye area up. I hope this helps but it sounds like you already have beautiful brown eyes so if you're eyes are already you're best asset then chances are they dont need much more detail.
